Situated only 13km of Melbourne’s central business district, and part of the City of Glen Eira local government, Murrumbeena has carved out a peaceful haven amongst the hustle and bustle of other suburbs clamouring to be the new ‘hot spot’.
Murrumbeena has a rich history, which is brought very much to the fore in the Federation and post-war architecture. Getting out and about is easy too. Catch the train from Murrumbeena Railway Station and be in the city in just 25 minutes. If you’re active, why not cycle into the city, or if you’d prefer, you could catch one of the several buses conveniently passing through the suburb.
